Today I finally manged to finish rating everyone's profile - yup the lot ... kinda explains how I've been spending all my days on here huh



Its been a chore and a pleasure - I actually took the time to read them ! That's why I took so long ... man we have some errrr 'different' people in here



Oh and if you don't know the difference between 'there' and 'their' - you lost a point, sorry, it just grates each time I see that



On to other matters ....



You would think that the higher up the system you go, the more responsibility you are trusted with, the more time you volunteer to keep the site from crumbling ... would earn you at least a little courtesy, respect maybe, from your peers



... it seems not



There's one reply from a Dominar (!!!) to one heart-felt comment from another Dominar on a thread. That reply was just plain disgusting. I hope it gets deleted before he can read it

I really wanted my Spyro game - its an old one cos I only have a PS1 but i like it :)



So I see my game at the weekend and it cost £5.99, so I go home and I have £5.15 in my dish and I hunt around and find another 70p, Dad coughs up the 20p and I am all set



In I stroll at lunchtime, game is still there unsold but now its costs £6.99 !!! As far as I can tell its because its now in the buy 3 for £10, but it costs £6.99 if you just want the one



I go to the counter and explain, beg, plead, puppy dog eyes, wimper and pout ... nothing, that man is made of stone I can tell you

The Vampire Breeds article is in with the admin ... its taken me an age to compile, I hope it doesn't get rejected.



I put it all together on MS Word - the only way I could get it on here was to c&p each title and paragraph one by one - adding all the spaces and codes to make some words bold or itallic as I went along. It took an hour just to do that !



I was concentrating so hard that I had been logged out for inactivity !! Talk about panic. Lucky I spotted it before I would have tried to click 'submit' - Dad got me to open a new tab (I use firefox) and sign in on that, then click submit on the article - it worked (phew)



I have to keep everything crossed now

I've got it written, spell checked and formatted ... all I have to do is go through and check its all in the past tense ... 17 pages !!!



Problem was I wrote it over about three weeks, and each time I wrote I did it in the present tense ... I've been through it a few times and keep finding big chunks that are wrong



Reckon I'll ask if someone can give it a final proof read before I try and submit it to a proscurator



Reckon it will lose all its clever formatting as soon as I put it in the article thingie

I haven't felt like that in months, in fact since I started coming here.



I know what it is, its got a long name, you know its happening but there's nothing you can do about it. The simplest little thing sorta washes clean over you and overwhealms you. It's horrible, all you can do is cry

One really persistant 'creature of the night' says a wooden stake hammered through his heart will kill him or cutting off his head ..... he's got a point there but asking me to do it for him is kinda odd, I am sure the police will want to get involved somehow - they're like that. So I have to say no

OK now on Sunday mornings I earn money cleaning out garden ponds.



Thought I would pass on something that would save me a lot of effort and pondowners a lot of frustration:



Most people think a pond goes green because of algae - wrong ! A pond with a pump sucking water in from the bottom and pumping it to the surface, stops algae forming. Algae only forms on stagnant water. What little that does manage to form in the odd still corner will move when it gets too big and grows into the moving water. A UV lamp will make it all clump into big lumps and a sponge filter will catch it. Simple huh



Most ponds go green and get clogged with a green gloop called blanketweed. Its sort of stringy stuff that gets everywhere. It doesn't harm your fish, it looks horrible though. It could even be saving your fish by using up the large amounts of plant food that has gotten into your water



The blanket weed feeds off plant-type food that is washed into the pond from the garden. A shallow small trench filled with stones will catch anything washing off nearby earth - plants will soon grow over the stones to make it look pretty. Plant-food can then only wash off the plant leaves that hang over the pond - put fertilisers on the soil, not the plant



Stop overfeeding your fish!



Now blanket weed solutions work by making the stuff grow really fast. It grows so fast that it uses up all the food that is available - and dies. So don't go pulling it out by he handful while you're treating it. If you do, you're treating it to grow super fast and making sure it never outgrows it food supply

I've been trying to get this meditation thing down right for a while :



I can lie down, arms crossed, eyes closed and relax, that's not easy y'know - I keep falling asleep



I can now picture this big yellow sun, no problem



Next I have to picture this wet orange with drops running over it. Well all I can think of is a lemon ... d'oh, I know the change of colour is as important as the change of shape ... gotta keep working on it

Blood Drinker now I notice, that's kinda funky but it shows that I am spending wayyy too much time on here.



But when I am on here I scoot off all over the place finding stuff out so I can reply with some sort of knowledge - it makes me smile at people who plump down whatever is in their head, all that proves sometimes is that science class is right: nature really does abhore a vacuum ... think about it ;)



so being here is really educational and what else would I be doing ? In a small village, nine miles from anywhere, two buses a day ... theres the internet or the bus shelter ... hmmmmm, think I had better stick to here cos it gets dark early now and we all know what lurks in the dark don't we, reader ?

I belong to a different web forum which has just suffered a tragic loss.



The guy's brother came on to tell us that he had just found his bro hanged exactly as he said he was going to.



A 'new' member arrived with the same spelling mistakes as the deceased - reincarnation works really fast on the net.



I don't know what I would do if I found someone hanging - run into street screaming, calling the police, cutting them down - all spring to mind, but logging on to a web community isn't in my list.



Its a reminder to me never to confuse the internet with real life

I'm in the Sandbox playing toon vs toon. I have my go, screen refreshes and there I am at the bottom. A little while later a [new] appears so I go in.



Someone has had a go, but answered the post above mine. I shrug my shoulders and have another go ... it happens again !!!



I go off and work on some class comments on the general forum and post on the three threads that I'm following.



After my input, ALL three threads sit there, doing nothing for nearly FOUR HOURS !!!

OK I did the last car wash, so my premium membership is all done and paid for ... it's mine, all mine *evil rub of hands*



I found a poem on another journal I read. It really touched a nerve with me - it's one of these 'repost it if you agree things', I usually ignore - if you read it in my poetry section, you'll see why I reposted it



Had my poll *how would you bury your pet goldfish* declined - they say its irrelevant. I had a look through some of the polls that are already there and thought it was pretty average - maybe I should have said " ... pet goth goldfish". I dunno



VR was offline for a while when I got home from school. To quote Moaning Myrtle - I was distraught!



Still a vampling you notice - trying hard to juggle the stats so I stay here a while



Found an epic thread on the forum about ghost hunting, suggested he does an Article - hope he does
